Battery Maintenance

• Keep the battery top clean and dry . Apply either Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline for better contact between terminal and clamps and to prevent corrosion.
• Top up only with Distilled water.
• Be sure to inspect your vehicle's electrical system regularly, especially the regulator voltage setting.
• Get your battery serviced regularly from your nearest authorised GOLDSTAR dealer.

Conditions of Fully Charged

• Make sure total Ah input is completed (Amp X duration = input Ah).
• 3 consecutive hourly readings of specific gravity and voltage becomes constant.
• Top of charge voltage will be around 15.5 V - 16.5V.
• All cells should gas freely.

Specific Gravity of electrolyte in fully charged condition: 1.255 ± 0.005
